Hi Taragana folks -

I'm using Translator Pro 5.1 (I'll update to 5.1.1 tonight, thanks for the email).

I've had email.worldlingo.com basically flooding my httpd. To the point where I had to add an iptables rule to drop their traffic.

Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
acctboth all -- anywhere anywhere
DROP all -- email.worldlingo.com anywhere

They're still attempting to connect, all the time. Here's a paste from running netstat on my server. You'll notice 28 concurrent connection request attempts. It's been as high as 75 in the past (and considering I allow for 150 connections in apache, taking up half of them obviously makes my site very, very slow).

Any thoughts or suggestions as to why this is happening would be greatly appreciated.

It doesn't appear related to the plugin. We do use WorldLingo engine to translate pages but only as a last resort when other translation engines are not available.

I don't think this has anything to do with the plug-in. You might want to look at your translation software. Could there be an update you can download in order to eliminate this problem? I would check out http://www.inin.com/ProductSolutions/Pages/Interaction-Dialer.aspx too. Hope you find your solution!
