Hi. I have the translator plugin for quite a time now. It was working before, then i unistalled it for a few months. Now i installed the latest version, and it doesnt translate any page. It goes to yahoo error page. I tried to change the tranlator engine, but it also goes for yahoo error. I didn't install the database step, because i didnt see any instructions.

The database is automatically installed when Translator is first installed or later upgraded. Have you also deleted the tables after uninstallation? Manual deletion can cause problems when you try to re-install it again because you are not aware of all entries to remove. Please file a support request. We will just have to do a force installation to get it going.
