if i updgade from PRO to GOLD do the cache stay or are deleted?

When you upgrade your Translator from Pro to Gold, the cache remains.

I am planning to purchase your USD$100 translator gold version for 1 blog license. However I am planning to have more than 4 blogs in the future. If I plan to upgrade to the unlimited version, can I get a USD$300 value instead of 400 as I will be losing 100 for nothing on the 1 license blog only. The problem now is I only have 1 blog active at the moment and my budget is not that high at the moment.
Appreciate your kind response in this matter. Please advise.
