Installed the Plugin Gold which works great.

How long generally does it take for it to start to work in the SEO functions?

Is it just a matter of waiting for the Robot visits to the site?

If your blog is visited by search engines then they will automatically find the translated pages. You don't even have to lift a finger :)

If your blog is popular then it could be as soon as a day, if not so popular then longer, maybe week or two.
