If your blog is visited by search engines then they will automatically find the translated pages. You don't even have to lift a finger :)

If your blog is popular then it could be as soon as a day, if not so popular then longer, maybe week or two.

There is no reason for Google to penalize your site for using Translator when they are providing the same service using widgets. The difference is that with Translator Plugin Pro or Gold, the translated pages belong to your own site and are not that of Google. Even then if you are in doubt then ensure that you are using a different IP set to translate your pages (requires Gold version) than the IP your site is hosted on. You can also change the priority of the engines so Google is not the first engine.
You can also permanently exclude Google from translating your pages by inactivating it in the database. Google is just one of the 6 engines we use for Translator Plugin Pro. In Gold Google 8 engines are used and Google is merely one of them.

You can easily create such a menu using Javascript + CSS (DHTML is an old term to describe it. You can do the same with Flash but then you don't need it. The Javascript solution will be much lighter.

The database is automatically installed when Translator is first installed or later upgraded. Have you also deleted the tables after uninstallation? Manual deletion can cause problems when you try to re-install it again because you are not aware of all entries to remove. Please file a support request. We will just have to do a force installation to get it going.

Two comments if I may...
1) the theme gets "lost" fairly regularly on the blog and reverts to wordpress default
2) have just upgraded wordpress and get an error on every page - seems to be something to do with link resolution - not sure though. The blog we have is http://www.kimwarren.com.

I, too, have made good use of this plugin. However, none of the authentication plugins that I have found work in newer versions (currently 2.7) of Wordpress.

If only the installable version of Wordpress had the same configuration options as their hosted service, these plugins would not even be necessary.

Back to the point, approximately how long will it be until this plugin is sees some love and is updated? WILL it be updated at some point or is it no longer under development?

Thank you for offering a free plugin that helps those who need it. I truly appreciate your work.
