Me again. I notice that the Translator Plugin does not put the rel="alternate" and link="xx" (where xx is the language code) on the links to the translated pages...would there be any benefit to adding this in a later version from an SEO perspective?

I don't think it will benefit SEO in any way, but that's me.
Feel free to use the API to easily add the tags.
